On a gloomy Friday morning, Hawthorn's selected team headed out onto the oval at the Ricoh Centre for their final training session ahead of Saturday's clash against Melbourne.

Inclusions Sam Mitchell, Isaac Smith and Billy Hartung were out on the track going through their final paces as the group completed the short and sharp 45 minute session.

The players began with a light jog before getting into an in-close handballing drill as warm-up.

The session ended with goal kicking practice.
