HAWTHORN recruit Brian Lake could make his debut for the Hawks on Sunday after being named in the squad to take on the Kangaroos.

Lake is coming off three weeks of great form in the VFL and could potentially fill a void left by the vacancy of Ryan Schoenmakers, who suffered a season-ending knee injury last week.

Matt Spangher, Kyle Cheney and Jordan Kelly could also play their first game for the Hawks in 2013 being named on an extended bench.

Coming out of the team is Ryan Schoenmakers, with his knee injury and Taylor Duryea, with a corked thigh.
