Hawthorn Football Club together with the Tasmania Government launched the Tassie Hawks in Schools program on Friday.

The program was launched at Aurora Stadium the day before the Club's final match in the state for 2013, by home grown Hawks defender Grant Birchall, Tasmanian Minister for Health, Children and Sport and Recreation Michelle O’Byrne and Move Well Eat Well representative Sue Moir.

Tassie Hawks in Schools sees every primary school across Tasmania receive a sports pack to encourage physical activity, plus access to an educational eWorkbook as part of the 2013 Tassie Hawks in Schools program, a joint initiative of Hawthorn Football Club and the Tasmanian Government.

HawksTV was there to capture all the action as Birchall launched the program with the help of the Tasmanian Government and Move Well Eat Well.
