As part of the AFL Exchange program, children from Bulman (located 312km north east of Katherine in the Northern Territory), visited the Ricoh Centre to meet the players and watch them train on the Waverley Park oval.

Six children from the region travelled down to Melbourne along with the principal of Bulman School, Allan Quartly for a five-day stay (Wednesday 31 July – Monday 5 August), which included a range of activities in and around Melbourne, with the support of Hawthorn Auskick.

This is the fourth year Hawthorn has been involved in the Exchange program, which is part of the AFL Exchange partnership that sees the Club visit the Katherine region up to three times each year.

View photos from the visit to the Ricoh Centre, where Shaun Burgoyne and Derick Wanganeen had a kick-to-kick with the children who also met their favourite Hawks players.
