Friday night saw 400 guests descend on the prestigious Regent Theatre Plaza Ballroom to witness Hawthorn Football Club’s official Season Launch.

Guests were treated to a delicious three course meal prepared by award winning Chef Mark Haines and enjoyed Ninth Island wines throughout the night.

The night’s official presentation began with the unveiling of the “Five decades of flags”, with all 10 premiership cups on display with premiership representatives Chris Langford, Gary Buckenara, John Platten and Sam Mitchell joined Graham Arthur, Peter Hudson, Peter Knights, Russell Greene and Ian Bremner on stage for the great reveal.

The Club also provided a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for guests to have their photo taken with all 10 premiership cups.

The 2011 playing group received their special edition “Five Decades of Flags” guernseys from Hawthorn greats Arthur, Hudson, Knights, Greene and Bremner, followed by Hawthorn Captain Luke Hodge impressing in his first official captain’s address.
