Hawthorn Football Club is thrilled to announce it has broken through 60,000 members for the first time in the Club’s history.

In April this year Hawthorn surpassed its all-time greatest membership record of 56,224, which was achieved on 30 June 2011.

Hawthorn Chief Executive Stuart Fox was delighted to confirm the news, crediting loyal supporters with the milestone achievement.

“To secure 60,000 members for the first time in the Club’s history is a significant achievement, and reinforces the incredible support and loyalty we receive from the Hawthorn faithful,” Fox said.

“The Club would not be where we are today without every single one of our 60,000-plus devoted and committed members, so thank you from everyone at Hawthorn Football Club.”

“I would like to also like to extend a huge thanks to our record number of Tassie Hawks members (8,710), who have played an important part in helping the Club achieve this milestone,” he said.

To celebrate this historic achievement, the Club’s HawksNest store is offering 25% off all stock for 60 hours. The celebration sale starts at midday today (Friday) and will continue through the Hawks’ match against Brisbane Lions on Sunday, concluding at midnight.

Chief Executive Officer Stuart Fox, Senior Coach Alastair Clarkson and Captain Luke Hodge have extended their thanks to members in the video below.

With five home games and one replacement game (Round 14 v Carlton) remaining, Hawks membership packages are still available, including 3-game membership packages from $80.
