Hawks family supports beyondblue’s Just Speak Up campaign
The Just Speak Up initiative supports pre and post natal depression and anxiety in pregnant women, new mothers and families.
Hawthorn Football Club is proud to support beyondblue: the national depression initiative and its newly launched depression and anxiety awareness campaign, Just Speak Up.
Aimed at pregnant women, new mothers their partners and families, the Just Speak Up campaign is the culmination of years of beyondblue research on the occurrence and risks associated with pre and post natal depression and anxiety - and the impact of not seeking help.
The campaign features real people (not actors) talking candidly about their experiences of pre and post natal depression and anxiety, and how they found help.
The newly launched website www.JustSpeakUp.com.au includes personal stories and an option for readers to share their experiences.
