ALL 22 members of Hawthorn's round 24 team will be available for selection this week, with the club reporting no fresh injury concerns from the nine-point win over Gold Coast.

Big man David Hale was subbed off at half-time of the Suns clash after receiving a knock to the head during the first quarter.

But Hawks football operations general manager Mark Evans said the ruckman/forward was in no doubt for the qualifying final against Geelong on Friday night.

"We just took him out at half-time, it was no real concern," Evans told hawthornfc.com.au on Tuesday afternoon.

"We were just being a bit more protective."

With all eight stars who were rested also available, coach Alastair Clarkson has a list of 30 pressing for selection against the Cats.

Two who won't be considered are premiership players Brent Renouf and Clinton Young, with both still battling niggles.

After recovering from surgery to remove his gall bladder, Renouf was slated for a return to the senior team last week.

But his progress was stalled by inflammation in his knee, and former Demon Paul Johnson came in to replace resting ruckman Max Bailey instead.

"He (Renouf) is struggling to get any consistency with his training," Evans said.

"It's nothing to do with the initial gall bladder injury, but he wasn't able to play last weekend and won't play this week either."

Young has been struggling to overcome a persistent ankle complaint, and looks unlikely to regain a place in the Hawthorn line-up this season.

"He still hasn't been able to get through a full recovery sprint training phase," Evans said.

"He'll keep going hoping that he can get it right, but he's going to run out of time, more than likely."
