BRAD Sewell says he’s still got plenty left in the tank ahead of his 150th match for the Hawks on Sunday.

Sewell is another success story for the AFL’s rookie system, taken with the seventh selection in the 2003 AFL Rookie Draft.

“It has been 10 years but I think there’s still plenty of good games left,” Sewell said.

The midfielder was elevated to the Hawks’ senior list in 2003, after impressing the Hawks coaching staff with his professionalism and ability to settle in at his new home.

Sewell says though, that the rigors of the modern game leave him with little time to reflect on his career to date, and is instead focused on this week’s opponent, Sydney.

“We don’t have a great deal of time to reflect at the moment,” he said.

“It’s a big game for us coming off a loss and with Sydney, you know what you’re going to get so there’s plenty of time for that (reflecting) down the track."

Sewell won the Peter Crimmins Medal as the Hawks’ fairest and best player in 2007 and was a member of Hawthorn’s 2008 premiership side.
