This Sunday sees Hawthorn take on St Kilda as part of the annual Blue Ribbon Cup in a blockbuster clash at the MCG.

The Hawks proudly take part in the Blue Ribbon Cup, played in memory of two Victoria Police officers Sergeant Gary Silk, (a passionate Hawthorn member) and Senior Constable Rodney Miller, who were killed in the line of duty at Moorabbin in August 1998.

The Cup is currently in St Kilda's possession due to the draw at Etihad Stadium last year.

The Victoria Police Blue Ribbon Foundation perpetuates the memory of police officers killed while serving the community.

Hawthorn Football Club encourages fans to attend the match as a mark of respect for fallen heroes and to show support to the Victorian Police Blue Ribbon Foundation.
