Unfortunately for Langford, he broke his collarbone last year. This restricted him to just six senior VFL and five development squad matches for the Box Hill Hawks. He is the son of champion Hawk full-back and now AFL commissioner Chris Langford, and, like his father, he displayed pace and an ability to run and carry the football.
