Thornbirds season launch wrap

30 Thornbirds and friends, optimistic and cheerful, celebrated the 2010 season launch at Stadium Café in Waverley Park.

What was intended as a morning coffee extended into lunch for some; there was so much to discuss and share.

Committee member Gaby Warren’s husband, Mike, discussed with us his role of Community Liaison Officer within the Club and spoke of the growth of the Thornbirds.

Present were former original committee members of seventeen years, Barb Goddard and Noelle Brown. We are fortunate to have them as current members and are pleased to see them attend our functions.
