Daniel Howe has been voted by fans as Hawthorn’s Round 22 MVP after his performance in the side's win against premiership contenders the Western Bulldogs.

Howe put on a dominant performance as he amassed a career and game-high 34 disposals, as well as eight score involvements, in the 27-point victory at UTAS Stadium on Saturday.

The midfielder's impact started early whereby 11 minutes into the first quarter he already had seven disposals, four of which were contested, as well as being involved in both of Hawthorn's scoring chains.

Prior to Saturday’s win, Howe averaged 17.4 disposals per game this season, but by halfway through the second quarter he already had 15 disposals to his name.

The 26-year-old also recorded a game-high 769 metres from his 34 disposals and put a cherry on top of a great performance with a bomb of a goal from outside 50 in the final term.
