Chad Wingard, Will Day and Max Lynch headline five inclusions to Hawthorn's 26-man squad ahead of the club's ANZAC Day clash with Sydney at UTAS Stadium.

Tasmanian product Jackson Callow and Ned Long are the other additions to the extended line-up, with the pair yet to feature at senior level to date in season 2022.

Lynch and Day are both looking to make their returns after enduring concussions in Rounds 1 and 4 respectively.

Ruckman Ned Reeves (shoulder) is the sole confirmed out from the side that overcame Geelong in an exhilarating Easter Monday win.

The Hawks, who currently sit in eighth spot on the ladder, will be eyeing off their fourth win from the opening six rounds, while the fifth-placed Swans will be hoping to continue their assault on the top four.

Hawthorn will announce its Round 6 team on Saturday at 4.30pm.
