The VFLW Hawks reached triple figures for the second time this season with an 88-point win over Port Melbourne on Sunday.

Coach Cherie O’Neill has picked out her best Hawks on ground.

Kristy Stratton

“Stratton provided some really solid efforts for us up forward, kicking a few goals, but she also pushed up the ground with a great two-way work rate, so she had a good impact on the game.”

Tamara Luke

“Tam played a great captain's game again. She was solid down forward, providing us a tall option down there. Her leadership on the ground was fantastic.”

Jenna Richardson

“Jenna took some great intercept marks across the half-back flank, she has a really good drive from there, so we just like the way she moves the ball.”

Isabelle Porter

“Porter played well through the middle. She was in and under and got us a lot of good balls on the outside. Her drive through the legs and through the contest was solid.”

Emma Humphries

“We’ve usually played Humphries down forward but today we played her on the wing. She provided us with a lot of run and two-way running. Her work rate was really positive.”

Abbey Holmes

“Holmes was really dynamic down forward. We threw her in the midfield in the last quarter which provided us with something a little different and gave us a little bit of extra push, so she was very good for us today.”
