Hawthorn midfielder Brad Sewell is expected to miss 3-4 weeks after straining his hamstring during Hawthorn’s match against North Melbourne last night.

Sewell was subbed out of the game early in the first term after injuring his right leg while kicking into the Hawks’ forward 50.

Hawthorn GM – Football Operations Chris Fagan said scans today showed it is a low grade hamstring strain.

“Brad will get straight into a solid rehabilitation block with our medical staff and hopefully return within the next month to contribute to the back end of our season,” Fagan said.
