After enjoying thei day off yesterday, the players returned to the Ricoh Centre on Thursday morning to go through their final prepations for Friday night's Qualifying Final.

The day began with Alastair Clarkson addressing the media in his usual pre-game press conference.

Clarkson ruled out superboot Matt Suckling from the clash due to a knee injury, while he said the Hawks will test Cyril Rioli's hanstring in the next two weeks.

With the sun shining and the smell of finals well and truly in the air, the boys hit the track in front of a strong crowd for their final training session.

In a light run, the players began with some kick-to-kick before a jog to warm up. They then moved the ball from one end to the other before ending the session with goal kicking practice.
