HAWTHORN goal kicking Legend Jason Dunstall will present the 2014 Premiership Cup to Alastair Clarkson and Luke Hodge if the Hawks win Saturday's Grand Final against Sydney.

The AFL announced the presenters of the 2014 Premiership Cup to the winning side on Wednesday morning following the announcement that 1988 and 1991 Hawthorn premiership Coach Alan Joyce will present the Jock McHale medal to the winning coach earlier this month.

North Melbourne hard nut Glenn Archer and 1996 Norm Smith Medal winner will present this year's medal to the player deemed best on ground.

It is fitting Dunstall will be the one to present Hawthorn's second Cup in as many years given his standing at Hawthorn after being elevated to Legend status mid-year for his on-field contribution to the Club.

Dunstall won four premierships with the Hawks, including back-to-back flags in 1988-89, a feat in which the Club celebrated its 25th anniversary this year.

If Hawthorn win on Saturday, it would be just the second time it has won back-to-back flags in its history.

Dunstall played 269 games for the Hawks between 1985-98, kicking a club record 1254 goals (third most in VFL/AFL history) and captained the Club from 1995-98.

He won four best and fairest awards (1988, 1989, 1992, 1993), was named in Hawthorn's Team of the Century and inducted into the AFL Hall of Fame in 2002.

Dunstall served as interim Club CEO 2004 and was the one to appoint and announce Alastair Clarkson as the Club's new coach. He then served as a Board member from 2004-2013.

Michael O’Loughlin will present the Cup in the event Sydney win.
