HAWTHORN'S Taylor Duryea has been offered a fine for an incident against Fremantle in Round 8.

Duryea can accept a $1000 sanction with an early guilty plea, after being charged with striking Docker Hayden Ballantyne in the second quarter at Aurora Stadium on Saturday.

The AFL Match Review Panel deemed the incident as careless conduct with low impact to the head.

It was classified as a $1500 sanction, and as Duryea has no applicable record, he can accept a $1000 sanction, making him available for Friday night's clash against Sydney.
