Ben McEvoy is closing in on an AFL return, having progressed well in his recovery from surgery on his fractured cheekbone.

“Macca’s going really well, we’re really pleased with his recovery,” Director of High Performance Andrew Russell said.

“He trained last week, he trained today, and we expect to see him back out there in the next 1-2 weeks.”

Will Langford’s injury-riddled 2018 campaign has been dealt another setback, with the midfielder injuring his hamstring in Box Hill’s Round 18 win.

“Will has a low-grade hamstring strain that will probably see him miss around three weeks,” Russell said.
