Hanrahan continued to develop his game in season 2018, seemingly improving with every game he played this year.
An integral part of the Box Hill premiership team, Hanrahan was especially outstanding in the last month of the season where he featured in the best for the Hawks in three of their last four games.
The Hawks would never have earned their third premiership had it not been for Hanrahan’s miraculous goal in the elimination final against Port Melbourne to take the game to extra-time where Box Hill would ultimately prove victorious.
The second-year Hawk played a midfielder-forward role this year and is one to watch in preparations for the 2019 campaign.
