Box Hill is set to play its third practice match of the pre-season when it takes on the Casey Demons on Sunday.
The Hawks have had mixed results in their opening two hit-outs, having lost to Footscray before overcoming Richmond a fortnight ago.
The reigning premiers will be keen to put in a strong performance this weekend with Casey awaiting the Hawks in Round 1 of the home and away season as well.
The two clubs have built a strong rivalry in recent times, winning one game each across their two home and away season encounters before the Hawks defeated the Demons by 10 points in last year’s grand final.
Hawks fans will get their first opportunity to catch a glimpse of the club’s first pick in the 2018 NAB AFL draft, Jacob Koschitzke.
An U18 All Australian last year, Koschitzke will start in the backline on Sunday, working alongside the experienced Kaiden Brand, Tim Mohr and Tim O’Brien.
The Hawks will take on the Demons at 12pm on Sunday at Casey Fields.
