Hawthorn has made a late change to its Round 10 side, with Mitch Lewis replaced by Marc Pittonet.

Lewis sustained concussion last weekend against the Tigers. Given the six-day break, the Hawks’ medicos have opted to take a cautious approach.

“Mitch recovered really well across the week, but as we have a short break and another travel next week, we’ve decided not to take the risk," GM-Football Graham Wright said.

“He’ll have another week to rest and he’ll likely return to face Brisbane next week.

“Pitto comes in off the back of some really strong VFL form.

“He thoroughly deserves another chance at senior level and we’re looking forward to seeing what he can produce today.”

Pittonet will add to his tally of five AFL games. His most recent outing was in Round 22 last year, where he registered 25 hit outs and four tackles.
