Hawthorn swingman Tim O'Brien has received a Round 17 Mark of the Year nomination.

Teammate Ricky Henderson sent a long kick down the line in the opening quarter which O'Brien was able to read to perfection.

O'Brien, who was playing forward at the time, jumped onto the shoulders of fellow forward Mitch Lewis to take an outstanding, athletic grab.

The 25-year-old is enjoying the best year of his career to date, having played in the past 11 consecutive games and averaging a career-high 13.7 disposals and 5.4 one-percenters.
