Jacob Koschitzke had a strong year of development in his first season in the brown and gold.

Hawthorn's first pick in last year's national draft, Koschitzke gained experience at either end of the ground across his 13 appearances for Box Hill at VFL level.

The key position player proved a competitive player with good athleticism and understanding of the game.

Koschitzke wasn't without a number of minor injuries in his first year at the Ricoh Centre, but the Murray Bushrangers product worked hard throughout the year and was a member of Box Hill's finals team against Werribee.

The 19-year-old will be looking to build on this year in 2020.
