In his first season for the brown and gold, Tom Scully has become an asset to the Hawks' midfield.

He started the year by surprising fans with an early return from an ankle injury.

To the delight of Hawks supporters, he debuted in Round 2 and then went on to play the following 21 games.

His consistency throughout the year has been obvious, averaging 18 disposals and kicking 12 goals.

The most impressive game for the 28-year-old came at the end of the season in the Hawks’ Round 22 win over Gold Coast.

He had 26 disposals, 10 of which were contested, 14 kicks and had a scoreboard impact, booting two goals.
