Best of the best: Henderson v Hanrahan

Jonathon Ceglar had a strong season for the brown and gold in which he averaged career-best numbers in disposals and marks.

The 28-year-old played 15 games in the senior side as well as three games in the VFL, his highest number since his knee injury in 2016.

In Hawthorn’s Round 9 clash against Richmond, Ceglar had his best senior game for the year, collecting 26 disposals, 15 hit-outs and 16 handballs.

The ruckman also had a particularly impressive performance in Box Hill’s Round 14 win over Geelong where he was named best on ground for his 48 hit-outs and 24 disposals.

It was announced at the end of year that Ceglar had signed on to stay in the brown and gold until the end of 2022 and we look forward to seeing what this big man can produce in those three years.
