With triple J's Hottest 100 the topic on everyone's lips, we thought we'd look back at the three Hawks who have hit the ton in a single season.

Next up, Jason Dunstall.

Total 100+ goal seasons: 6

Most in a season: 145 (1992)

Career average (per game): 4.7

Only Tony Lockett matches Jason Dunstall’s tall of six 100-plus goal seasons - and the Hawk did it in a career four years shorter than the former Saint and Swan.

Dunstall achieved his first ton in 1988, just his fourth season, at the age of 23.

He then repeated the feat in the following premiership year of 1989 before surpassing the milestone in four of the five seasons between 1992 and 1996.

Amazingly, the Queensland product won just one Coleman across this period as the likes of Ablett and Lockett also shared in the spoils.

Dunstall’s career-high goals in a match, also the club record, came in this span of time as well as he booted 17 goals in a 79-point drubbing of Richmond in Round 7 of 1992.
