Is this week the week we see the return of Jarman Impey?

Impey has played in three of the Hawks scrimmage games now, quickly rediscovering his signature dash and dare off the half-back line.

If deemed satisfactorily prepared for senior footy, Hawthorn would relish having the defender and his energy back in the side.

Luke Breust is set to make his return to the senior side after four weeks on the sidelines following jaw surgery.

The renowned goal sneak will bring a potency to the Hawks forwardline, an element the Hawks have been missing in recent weeks.

The other one to watch as he completes his recovery from a broken toe is Jon Ceglar.

The ruckman has spent the past fortnight out of the game as he recovers his injury and will be given every chance to prove his fitness this week.

There have also been a number of other notable performers in the reserves scratch match with Harry Jones and James Cousins delivering consistent efforts week in and out.

The midfield pair are strong possession accumulators while they have both been able to hit the scoreboard in recent weeks as well.

Oliver Hanrahan and Conor Glass are another duo that may well be brought up in team selection discussions following strong form in the scrimmages.

Changkuoth Jiath has been another stand-out in the past three weeks since he returned from a hamstring injury.

Given that he is currently listed as a Category B rookie, Jiath would have to be upgraded before being named for senior selection but he has certainly been pushing his case if and when the opportunity arises.
