Hawthorn Football Club welcomes its exciting Round 11 fixture, with the Hawks set to celebrate Sir Doug Nicholls Round under Saturday night lights in Darwin.

Hawthorn will take on Gold Coast at 7.40pm local time (8.10pm AEST) on Saturday 29 May at TIO Stadium.

Remarkably, the clash will be the first time the Hawks have ever played in the Northern Territory for premiership points.

It marks an exciting occasion for the hundreds of Hawthorn members based in the Northern Territory. The club shares a special connection to the territory, maintaining strong community and football ties to the region of Katherine – one of the Hawks’ current talent zones.

Hawthorn fans will be hoping their side can continue its recent run of form against the Suns, with the Hawks saluting by over 50 points in the last three meetings between the two sides.
