Hawthorn has confirmed at least one change will be made to its line-up as the club prepares to take on Brisbane at UTAS Stadium on Sunday.

A hamstring injury to James Cousins has forced his omission, with the young midfielder set to spend the next three weeks on the sidelines.

Shaun Burgoyne, Damon Greaves, Jai Newcombe, Finn Maginness and Conor Nash are the five names that have been added into the Hawks squad of 26. 

Intent on finishing the final month of the 2021 season strongly, the Hawks will be looking to arrest a two-game losing streak against the Lions at the Tasmanian venue this weekend.

 

The Hawks team of 22 will be announced on Friday at 5pm AEST.
