Mitch Lewis has added another MVP to his collection in 2022 after his impressive performance against the Western Bulldogs on Friday night.

Fresh off signing a new four-year contract, and back for the first time since Round 12, the 23-year-old showed just why he continues to be one of the biggest improvers this season.

Lewis starred in the Hawks' lively opening, establishing himself as the leading player on the ground in the first quarter with nine disposals, six marks and two goals.

He struggled to get his hands on the footy in the second and third terms, but finished with a game-high four majors, a team-high nine score involvements, 15 disposals and nine marks.

The recognition comes off the back of his recent re-signing with the Hawks, which will see him remain in the brown and gold until 2026.

It marks the third time he has claimed the fan-voted MVP honours this year, following standout performances in Round 2 and Round 12
