Livewire forward Nick Watson and emerging midfielder Henry Hustwaite will return to Hawthorn's line-up ahead of the first-ever Friday night AFL match in Launceston.
James Worpel was unable to recover in time from a quad cork sustained in last week's 22-point win over the Western Bulldogs, while Finn Maginness has been omitted for the Round 14 clash with Adelaide.
Ruckman Lloyd Meek has also been named for his 50th Hawthorn game, while Dylan Moore will again captain the side in James Sicily's absence.
With Watson missing Round 13 due to illness and Hustwaite given another opportunity to back up his solid Box Hill form, Hawthorn Executive General Manager of Football looked forward to both of their returns.
"Henry gets another opportunity at AFL level this season on the back of, again, going back to Box Hill and performing at that level," McCartney said.
"Meanwhile, Nick returns to the team after missing last week with illness.
"His energy, both on offence and defence, will be something that I'm sure the Tasmanian crowd will enjoy."
