Hawthorn secured the services of Mabior Chol after reaching a trade deal with Gold Coast during the 2023 trade period. Having kicked a team-high 44 goals in his first season at the Suns in 2022, the 26-year-old key forward/ruckman will look to build upon his 61-game career at the Hawks. The 200cm big man most recently spearheaded the Suns’ VFL premiership campaign, which included a five-goal preliminary final performance, before adding four more majors in the decider.
