Last time we met

Hawthorn (7) defeated by Western Bulldogs (37), Round 4, S7

In difficult conditions at Box Hill City Oval, the Hawks struggled to put up a fight against the Bulldogs.

After a scoreless opening term, the Hawks got on the board through Ashmore, who kicked her first goal of the club.

Unfortunately, the Bulldogs piled on another three majors, taking a 12-point lead into half-time.

The scoring continued for the away team in the second half, kicking another three majors to run out as 30-point winners.

Jasmine Fleming's performance was the highlight of the day for the Hawks, as she recorded a career-high 25 disposals to go with six clearances and three tackles.
