HAWTHORN backmen Ben Stratton and Josh Gibson have accepted $1000 fines for incidents in the club's win against Adelaide Crows on Thursday night.

Both players were charged with striking offences in the Round 12 match.

The AFL Match Review Panel charged Gibson with striking Crow Charlie Cameron in the first quarter of the Round 12 match.

Stratton was charged with striking Crow Eddie Betts, also in the first quarter.

Due to both players having good records, they were able to accept a $1000 sanction with an early guilty plea.

Both incidents were classified as intentional conduct with low impact to the body, based on video evidence and medical reports from the Crows.
