HAWTHORN was among the quieter clubs during the 2015 NAB AFL Trade Period.

The Hawks were involved in three trades during the period.

Midfielder-forward Jed Anderson was traded to North Melbourne in exchange for a first round draft pick early in the trade period, with ruckman-forward Jack Fitzpatrick traded in from the Dees on the penultimate day.

The Hawks also exchanged draft picks with GWS Giants, in a third deal on the final day of the trade period, ensuring the club has three picks inside the top 50 for the 2015 NAB AFL Draft.

Trade 1

Hawthorn receives pick 15 and pick 54 from North Melbourne, in exchange for Jed Anderson, pick 38 and pick 40 (compensation pick for the departure of unrestricted free agent Matthew Suckling).

Trade 2

Hawthorn receives Jack Fitzpatrick from Melbourne, in exchange for pick 94.

Trade 3

Hawthorn receives pick 48 from GWS Giants, in exchange for pick 55 and pick 58.

Hawthorn’s current picks at the 2015 NAB AFL Draft are: 15, 18, 48, 76, 112 and 130.

*Note, this order is before draft picks received as compensation for losing a free agent are factored in.
