Hawthorn has made a late change to its team set to face the Cats, with Kaiden Brand coming in to replace James Frawley.

Frawley suffered a foot sprain in the Hawks’ Round 1 hit out, and was unable to fully recover in time for Monday’s clash.

“James suffered a bit of joint inflammation last week and unfortunately hasn’t been able to pull up in time,” said GM-Football Graham Wright.

“We’ll assess him this week and make a decision as to whether he’ll be available for Round 3.

“Kaiden Brand has performed well at Box Hill across the past fortnight, and we’re confident he can come in and play his role today.”

Hawthorn’s Round 2 clash against Geelong kicks off at 3.20pm at the MCG.
