HAWTHORN vice-captain Jordan Lewis has had a scan on his calf, with the results coming back all clear.

The star Hawk remains in-line to feature in Saturday’s NAB Challenge match against North Melbourne, after being named in the 27-player squad yesterday.

The Hawks had a light session at the Ricoh Centre this morning, with Lewis not in attendance.

But GM – Football Operations Chris Fagan said it wouldn’t necessarily rule him out.

“Jordan had a tight calf this morning, and as a precaution he’s had a scan,” Fagan said.

“The scan has come back all clear, which is great news for us.

“He has obviously built up some quality game time by playing in our first two NAB Challenge matches, and we’ll make a decision on whether he plays against North Melbourne tomorrow.

“We’ll be taking no risks with him – if he doesn’t play tomorrow, we know he will be training next week in preparation for Round 1.”
