The Club is excited to present the WE ARE HAWTHORN story, which represents the Club’s past, present and future.

Drawing on the voices of people that have instilled the culture and values of the Club,  John Kennedy Snr, Peter Knights, Gwen Crimmins (wife of the late Peter Crimmins), Jason Dunstall, Dermott Brereton, Shane Crawford, Alastair Clarkson and Luke Hodge, it identifies with every aspect of the Club’s brand and values.

The story is based on the ethos of the Hawthorn Football Club;

Chief Executive Stuart Fox says the story represents concepts in which Hawthorn people can identify.

“The narrative is more than a collection of words,” he said.

“Members and supporters can immerse themselves in the images and watch and listen to the compelling brand features and choose a ‘moment’ that they most identify with.”

Captain Luke Hodge said it was a privilege to be involved.

“It ties in the past, present and future of our Club and reflects everything we stand for,” he said.

“Anyone who’s Hawthorn will identify with it immediately, and I think they’ll enjoy the slideshow of moments and voices in the video.

“I feel very lucky and honoured to be a part of it, alongside some of the legends of our Club.”
