Hawthorn Football Club was excited to welcome the cast of The Inbetweeners to the Ricoh Centre, Waverley Park last week to introduce the stars to the game of AFL.

The stars of the hit TV show The Inbetweeners and now stars of the movie The Inbetweeners were in Australia to promote the release of their new film, The Inbetweeners 2.

The Hawks, together with players Isaac Smith, Liam Shiels, Luke Lowden and Angus Litherland welcomed the cast: Joe Thomas (Simon), Simon Bird (Will), James Buckley (Jay) and Blake Harrison (Neil) to the Club to learn skills of AFL and to re-create the hilarious dance scene from the first movie.

Joe, Simon, James and Blake were presented with Hawthorn guernseys before they watched highlights of the Hawks in action and then put through their paces by the Hawks players.

The guys had some interesting footy techniques that probably needed some fine tuning but the players were impressed overall by their skills.

Check out the best photos from their visit below, check out the dance scene here, their AFL skills or watch the video above to hear from the cast.

The Inbetweeners 2 is in cinemas now.
