HAWTHORN will travel to Adelaide on ANZAC Day next year for a blockbuster clash against Port Adelaide.

The AFL confirmed on Tuesday night the Hawks would feature as part of the five-game fixture on the day to commemorate the centenary of Australian and New Zealand’s service in armed conflict.

The re-match of this year’s nail-biting Preliminary Final will be played at Adelaide oval on Saturday 25 April at 7.10pm.

The game will follow the St Kilda-Carlton clash in Wellington and the traditional MCG blockbuster between Collingwood and Essendon.

The Hawks haven't played on ANZAC Day since 2010, when it faced North Melbourne at Aurora Stadium.

The Round 4 clash is the second confirmed fixture for the Hawks for 2015, following the confirmation the Club will open its 2015 campaign against Geelong on Easter Monday.

The Hawks and Cats will clash in the now-traditional blockbuster on 6 April.

The full 2015 Toyota AFL Premiership Season fixture will be released on Thursday morning.
