During the free agency and trade periods and at the 2014 National and Rookie Drafts, Hawthorn welcomed eight new players to the Club, with five joining the primary list and three the rookie list.

Over the Christmas period, hawthornfc.com.au is giving you the chance to get to know the Club’s new players on both a football and personal level.

What kind of player are you: I’m a dangerous attacking forward who has a good defensive side.

What are your strengths:  My speed and power along with my height because I can play tall and small.

What can you work on: Probably my endurance because I missed a whole season in 2014, so I need to get the miles in my legs.

Team supported growing up: Hawthorn

Childhood or current sporting hero (non-AFL): Michael Jordan

AFL hero: It was Lance Franklin but I just love watching Shaun Burgoyne

Player you believe you play like most: I try to be a shorter version of Lance Franklin with my excitement and being able to move up the ground and run around as well as being exciting in the forward line.

Favourite meal: Seafood. I love my seafood.

What is your pump-up song before games: Anything with a good beat.

Favourite band or performer: I’m pretty broad with my music, I like a lot of different things.

Best band or performer you’ve seen live: I’ve only ever seen Usher so I guess he’s the best!

Favourite TV show: Probably a fishing show called All 4 Adventure.

Favourite character in a TV show and why: I’m not really into watching too much TV outside fishing shows.

What are your hobbies: Fishing, dancing, painting.

What is your signature dish: I like cooking so I have a few – I love my seafood so maybe garlic prawns or crayfish salad.

Food you miss most during the season: Nothing because seafood is my favourite and I can pretty much have that all the time!

What is your favourite thing to do in your spare time: Fishing haha

Favourite movie and why: I’m not really into movies too much.

Dream holiday destination: A good island with lots of good fishing spots.

Best country or city you have visited and why: Probably Europe when I went to London, Italy and Switzerland. Seeing ice for the first time was awesome in Switzerland.
