THREE Hawks - Sam Mitchell, Cyril Rioli and Josh Gibson - have been named in the 2015 All Australian Team.

Mitchell becomes a three-time All Australian (after selection in 2011 and 2013), Rioli has been selected for the second time (2012) and Gibson has earned his maiden All Australian guernsey.

Gibson was named in a back pocket.

The 31-year-old ranked first in the competition for marks (173) during the home-and-away season, playing 21 of a possible 22 home-and-away matches and spending 98.8 per cent of those matches on the ground.

Rioli was named on a half forward flank.

The 26-year-old kicked 35 goals from 20 home-and-away matches and was among the top three for contested possessions, score assists and score involvements in the small forwards category during the home-and-away season.

Mitchell was named on the interchange bench.

The 32-year-old Brownlow Medal contender averaged 30.5 disposals per game in his 20 home-and-away matches to be among the competition's leading ball-winners.
