HAWTHORN's first to fourth year players returned to the club for the start of pre-season training on Monday.

The players completed an outdoor session, incorporating skills work and running drills, before heading inside for strength training.

Young defender Kaiden Brand, who missed the whole of last season due to two shoulder reconstructions, was among the group of players out on the track.
