HAWTHORN has made three changes for its clash with North Melbourne on Friday night at Etihad Stadium.

Star midfielder Sam Mitchell headlines the inclusions, with dual premiership defender Taylor Duryea and ruckman Jonathon Ceglar also returning.

Mitchell and Duryea return from their respective back and hip niggles, which saw them miss the Hawks’ win against Essendon, while Ceglar comes back from suspension.

GM – Football Operations Chris Fagan said it was a straightforward decision to recall the trio.

“Mitch and Doc have both recovered from the niggles which kept them out last week, and Cegs was obviously available after serving his one-week ban,” Fagan said.

“All three have been important players for us this year, making it a simple decision to bring them back in for a big match against North Melbourne.”

  Hawks resist Hodge temptation

The returning trio replaces the three players who came into the side as like-for-like replacements last week, in Will Langford, Angus Litherland and Marc Pittonet.

Langford and Litherland have been named as emergencies, alongside defender Kaiden Brand.

OPPOSITION: Three big outs for North Melbourne

The Hawks will be chasing their 10th win for 2016 – and a win against the Roos would see them positioned inside the top four at the end of Round 13.
