HAWTHORN’s Cyril Rioli will miss the club’s Round 14 clash against Gold Coast Suns at Aurora Stadium.
Rioli will return to the Northern Territory to attend his grandfather’s funeral.
The star forward has played 12 of 13 matches this season. He missed the Round 8 game against Fremantle to return to the Northern Territory to be with his late grandfather.
Hawthorn will name a squad of 25 players for Sunday’s match on Thursday night, before naming a 22-man team on Friday.
