Review

Throughout a season that has been tainted by persistent injury troubles, O’Rourke has managed just seven games for Box Hill.

In those matches, O’Rourke has averaged 21 disposals, three marks and four tackles.

The former Greater Western Sydney Giant has shown signs of what saw him get taken with pick two in the 2012 national draft with a strong ability to find the ball and use it well.

Similar to fellow midfielder Jaeger O’Meara, O’Rourke will be assured by the fact he has been able to finish the year off by playing a few games.

This confidence will hopefully inspire a strong upcoming preseason for the 23-year old.

A word from: Brett Ratten

“Jono had an injury interrupted season. He had hamstring issues as well as an operation.

“But he has just got back to playing at VFL level and is showing some really good signs in winning the ball at that level.

“But he has missed a big chunk of the year, so for him to finish the season off and play really well in the finals for Box Hill will be really good for his confidence.”
