The Cats look set to recall Brownlow medalist Patrick Dangerfield, with the star midfielder appearing to have fully recovered from a hamstring complaint.
Key defender Harry Taylor is one player the Cats have already ruled out after suffering a foot injury in their Round 1 win over Melbourne.
Fellow defender Cam Guthrie (groin) and Tom Stewart (ankle) are also under a cloud after coming to the bench during the second half in discomfort.
194cm key position player Timm House will come under consideration for an Easter Monday debut to fill the void left by Taylor, while speedster Nakia Cockatoo and midfielder Scott Selwood could also make their first appearances for the Cats this year in a return from injury.
Outside runner Mark O’Connor could also be included after being a late withdrawal from the Cats’ 22 with an ankle complaint.

What to expect
The Cat’s midfield depth is set to be the Hawks’ biggest concern this week.
Gary Ablett made an impressive return to the Geelong side with 39 disposals, while skipper Joel Selwood also matched the dual Brownlow medalist’s output.
Despite conceding the clearance count, the Cats won the disposal count 418 to 358, and sent the ball forward with great efficiency.
Midfielder Mitch Duncan (26 disposals) and debutant Tim Kelly (27 disposals) were also prominent through the midfield and add Dangerfield into that mix and the Hawks engine room will have plenty to deal with.
Players to watch
Ablett is set to be even more effective this weekend after blowing out the cobwebs in his first competitive hit out in his new-again colours.
After 39 disposals, 10 contested possessions and a goal against the Dees, the Hawks will be looking to well and truly curb his influence on the contest.
Daniel Menzel is another the Hawks will be hoping to find an effective match-up for after he kicked four goals from six attempts in a dynamic display in Round 1.
