Review

Turning 30 at the end of the season, Henderson arguably had the best year of his career.

His 22 games for the season is the greatest number of appearances he has made across his nine-year time in the AFL.

Henderson’s career-high 3.3 inside 50s per game are also indicative of the influence he had for the Hawks forward of centre this year.

The former Crow was especially prominent in front of goal over the first month of the season, booting five majors across the opening four weeks of the year.

Henderson was one of the Hawks’ better performers throughout the finals series, averaging 25 disposals over the two weeks.
